Health care experience

PA schools want to see students/applicants experiencing the healthcare environment before entering PA schools to give them an idea of what everthing is all about.

Volunteering

Many PA schools would like to see that applicants are striving to serve their communities, as the career consists of helping and have a caring mindset of people.

Leadership

Although having a leadership position is not required for PA schools, it'll make the applicant's application to stand out!

Shadowing

Shadowing a MD,PA, and other medical professional can help applicants to decide if they will enjoy such career. It'll also give them insights on the daily routines that each profession goes through.
